Van's Mercantile

Teetering on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, waves lapping at her foundations, this general store is no longer the hub it once was. In it's heyday it served the community as an all-in-one-stop with groceries, hardware, dishes and glassware, appliances, furniture, home fixtures, fishing gear, a post office, and even coffin sales. The rusted ice cream cooler no longer serves cold cones, the magazine rack no longer spins, and its walls of shelves sag under the weight of the years and the remaining new-old stock.
